My puppy training goal is simple, to teach you how to train your puppy, but equally if not more important, to teach you “how does your puppy/dog learn.”If you don’t understand “how a dog learns,” then you will not understand why some of your training methods worked and some didn’t. If I can in some way make living with your puppy or dog easier and increase your knowledge about dogs, then I will have achieved my goal.
There is a window in which your puppy is so willing to please you – from the ages of 8 to 16 weeks – and if you utilize that time properly the training is so easy and so quick and so much fun.
When you learn what to do and when to do it, you’ll wonder why you didn’t know this before.
